Hey, I’m Jonny. I’ve been playing the banjo since I was six, so now in my mid-twenties, I’ve had the instrument in my hands for most of my life. A lot of those years were spent performing professionally with my brothers as the Sleepy Man Banjo Boys.I’ve toured across the U.S. and internationally, recorded multiple albums, and have had the honor to perform on stages including the Grand Ole Opry, Carnegie Hall, TED, The Late Show with David Letterman, and Jimmy Kimmel Live!Along the way, I've been blessed enough to play alongside and learn from some unbelievable musicians. It’s always meant a lot to me how many people have followed Sleepy Man over the years, especially those who discovered the banjo through our music and videos.
